Another achievement of Albanian sport. Albanian athlete Luiza Gega, has achieved a fantastic result, as she qualified for the 3000 m finals with obstacles at the Tokyo Olympics. 

The 32-year-old scored a time of 9: 23.85, ranking fifth in the second battery, a result that qualifies her directly in the grand final on August 4. It is the first time that Gega reaches the final of the Olympic Games, while he has previously participated in the final of the World Cup. 

While the first place in the battery where Luiza Gega competed, was taken by the American athlete, Cornei Frerits. An Albanian athlete reaches the finals of the Olympics, thus challenging the fastest girls in the world, this is the culmination of Albanian athletics.
