Obituary of Violet M Witeli

Violet M. Witeli, 94 of Cloquet passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 in Chris Jensen Health and Rehabilitation Center in Duluth. She was born March 18, 1925 in Princeton to Gustaf and Anna Anderson. The family moved to Cloquet when Violet was a young girl. Violet married Raymond Witeli on March 14, 1943 in Cloquet. She worked for Diamond Match for several years. She was a former member of the Women of the Moose and the DAV Chapter 18. Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Ray in 2007, sisters, Ruth Hammitt, Millie Lammi, June Olson and Florence Aili; and brothers, Kenneth and Iver Anderson. She is survived by one daughter, Katherine Witeli of Cloquet; one son, Rodger (Cheryl) Witeli of Cloquet; brother, Art (Auralee) Anderson of Champlin; grandchildren, Brian (Twyla) Witeli, Jessica (Brian) Davis, Eric (Abby) Witeli, Sara Witeli, and Anthony Witeli; and four great grandchildren. Gathering of family and friends: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 2, 2019 in the Atkins Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St., Cloquet. Lunch will be served.
