The Chronicle’s Brandon Watson ventured to East 7th Indian restaurant Nasha, where he found Texas-friendly dishes with authentic touches. Alongside curries, biryani, and dal, there are tacos and dessert-appropriate lassi and chai-laced cocktails. The spicier the dish, the tastier it was:

We ordered two at full burn – Malvani roasted coconut curry with shrimp and Mumbai-style Millionaire's Curry with paneer. It's a rare feat indeed when heat doesn't overwhelm flavor, but ginger and garlic were prevalent in both. Nice work if you can stand it. Any of the flatbreads work for sopping, but we couldn't get enough of the tandoori roti ($3).

In lieu of a review, Matthew Odam named his 15 favorite burgers in Austin. Leading the list is Odd Duck’s lunch burger with its "thoughtful craftsmanship." He also offered his picks for $6 budget burgers, where P. Terry’s and Top Notch appear, and his top veggie option from Bouldin Creek Cafe.
