Mate Okros Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

PHILADELPHIA - Drexel graduate student Mate Okros has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Okros was a captain on this year's team that won 20 games and finished second overall in the Coastal Athletic Association.
Okros appeared in all 32 games this season and started 23 times. He averaged 6.4 points per game and shot .391 from 3-point territory in his final year. Okros finished his career with 184 3-pointers at Drexel, which ranks him 11th on the school's career list. He is also eight in career 3-point percentage at Drexel at .387.
To be named Academic All-District, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better as an undergraduate (and graduate student if applicable) and compete in at least 90% of the team's games.
