A Napoli side desperate to turn things around will play out their postponed Serie A clash with Sassuolo this evening.

The match between the Neroverdi and the Partenopei kicks off at 17.00 UK time at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio-Emilia.

Sassuolo have been one of the worst performing teams of the season, hitting far below their expectations, and the club decided to make a change following the recent loss to Empoli, sacking Alessio Dionisi and replacing him with Primavera coach Emiliano Bigica.

The Neroverdi have only managed to win one of their last 12 Serie A matches, a run that leaves them 17th in the league table, tied on points with relegation candidates Hellas Verona and Cagliari.

Napoli have also struggled to find a rhythm in the league this season and they’ve hardly looked better, picking up just two wins in their last nine consecutive league matches. Caretaker coach Francesco Calzona is still waiting for his first win in the dugout.

The Partenopei are without Jens Cajuste and Cyril Ngonge, both sidelined with injuries, whilst Sassuolo can’t count on the injured Domenico Berardi and Mattia Viti.

Probable line-ups for Sassuolo vs Napoli
