The founder of TV Pirveli addressed the government and the diplomatic corps while being live on the court's request to satisfy the prosecutor's motion.
According to Vato Tsereteli, the government will not be able to suppress critical media in the country.
"I am not going to address the Prime Minister of the country Irakli Gharibashvili, who in my opinion is a butcher abusing young people. I do not think I should say anything to Murusidze's court. I think the government has gone beyond all the law frameworks, and today the court ruled that it can forcibly enter and remove something non-existent, some mythical electrical device. I would like to address the government of the country; you cannot turn off TV Pirveli and prevent it from broadcasting throughout the country. I appeal to you; you cannot suppress the critical media and prevent our voice from being heard in this country. I want to address the diplomatic corps because only you can stop this hysteria, and I want to demand a quick response from you. The Georgian Dream agenda is to stop TV Pirveli from broadcasting in this country," Vato Tsereteli said.
