The Georgia film director, scenario writer, actor, poet, and painter has died. He was 86.
Rezo Esadze has created 11 movies, including Nylon Fir Tree, Whacks, Marriage Gift, Love from the First Glance, Four Pages, etc.
He worked as a Chief Editor of Chinchraka humoristic newspaper, as a Director of Georgian TV films, and Art Director of Debut Union. Starting from 1989, he worked as an Art Director of +1 Studio and a professor at the Tbilisi State Theater Institute.
Rezo Esadze was starring in the main as well as episodic roles in various movies.
Several exhibitions of his artworks were organized in Tbilisi, Munich, Geneva, and Tel-Aviv. His works are kept in private and museum collections.
