St. Francis College Brooklyn Athletics Virtual Pack the Pope

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY – The St. Francis College Brooklyn Athletics Department announced that it will be virtually packing the Daniel Lynch Gymnasium at the Pope Physical Education Center this Summer. Tickets are available now, and all proceeds go directly towards the St. Francis Athletics Student-Athlete Opportunity Fund.

"We are extremely excited to announce the virtual Pack the Pope initiative. This is a great way to engage with our St. Francis family over the Summer in support of our 300+ student-athletes. Every donation counts as we strive to virtually pack the Daniel Lynch Gymnasium at the Pope Physical Education Center! All proceeds go towards our Student-Athlete Opportunity Fund, which provides additional aid for our student-athletes in case of unforeseen circumstances," said Director of Athletics Irma Garcia.

Of course, we would rather be gathering in-person at the Daniel Lynch Gymnasium, Genovesi Center, Brooklyn Bridge Park, SFC Aquatic Center, tennis court, golf course, track, or lanes, but this is a way to come together to support St. Francis student-athletes.

St. Francis athletic supporters, alumni, family members, friends, administrators, staff, faculty, and student-athletes can help Pack the Pope by purchasing one ticket or more. Tickets are available in increments of $10. Single tickets ($10), a family package of five tickets ($50), and a row of 10 tickets ($100) are available now.

Virtual Pack the Pope Ticket Prices:
  • Single Ticket – $10
  • Family Package (5 Tickets) – $50
  • Row (10 Tickets) – $100
The Student-Athlete Opportunity Fund is utilized for travel home for student-athletes in case of family emergencies, medical expenses not covered by student or SFC insurance, purchase of expendable course supplies (notebooks, pens, etc.), clothing for demonstrated needy student-athletes, and summer school tuition assistance.

Thank you for your continued support of St. Francis Athletics!
