Heat permanently damages hair, makes it dry and brittle. I would advise you to avoid heat- well if you can’t, try using hair dryers at very low/medium temperatures. Remember wigs do not recover like natural hair so the damage is permanent (such a bummer right!!!!)

So this is me y’all…. I have had this hair for the past two years.  The hair looks as good as new and this is the 5th time i am wearing it.

Hey guys wondering how you can revive your almost “dead wig’…Here are 7 ways that will leave your wig looking as good as new.

A friend of mine told me to use honey to condition my hair and i thought she must be crazy but yeah it does work, with a little bit of olive oil obviously. All you need is pure honey and extra virgin oil.

I use this honey hydration conditioner on my hair extensions and it can also be used on your natural hair too. Honey  provides moisture  to parched strands .

How  to do it

People often ask me if a wig brush is ideal for combing hair well the answer is a big fat no!!!!!. Your everyday hairbrush is not the best choice for your wig. Wigs need to be treated gently. In most instances the hair brush that you would use for your natural hair may tear the wig cap or pull out the hairs of your wig. I would suggest you use a wide tooth comb. A wide tooth comb is a lot easier on your wig, and it prevents damages caused by regular hair brushes.

A closure is a section of hair 3-5 inches wide long made to imitate the scalp and give full protection to the hair. Closures can be sewn, taped or glued down.
