Lamazi fabrics blog posts

This is where you will be able to find the posts I’ve written specifically for Lamazi fabrics. They provide me with my choice of fabric from their website and I write honest reviews about the fabric, along with any useful hints and tips which might be helpful when sewing with them.

This is my most recent Lamazi make using soft linen from their beautiful new range “Garden Party” designed in collaboration with Rachel Parker.

Lamazi moved into new premises in the autumn of 2021 and held their first open day in November to welcome visitors. I went along to see it, and to help out, and I made a new jumpsuit for the occasion. The review of the pattern and fabric is here.

Late summer 2021 saw me write this detailed article with lots of advice on how to sew with linen jersey.

This spring 2021 Lamazi post also sparked an article in Love Sewing magazine about sewing menswear! It features See You at Six fabric which I made into a sweatshirt for my husband, he’s very pleased with it and it’s had plenty of wear.

I wrote my first review in spring 2020 using a slinky bark-effect crepe fabric, you can read it here.

For my second post later in the summer 2020 I used Lamazi’s gorgeous printed Broderie Anglaise which you can read here.

In late autumn 2020 I sewed a dress suitable for the Festive season and beyond. You can read it here.
