Air Jordan 4 Bred Reimagined

If you're unfamiliar with this release, the Jordan 4 debuted back in 1989 and was designed by the famous Tinker Hatfield. This colourway is the latest in the fan-favourite Jordan "Reimagined" line, which takes iconic releases and reimagines them for the modern day. The Reimagined Bred keeps it classic, but does make a few changes to the original "Black Cement" colourway it was based on which we'll go over.

First up, is it comfy? Despite what we normally say about Jordan 4s, this pair is truly comfortable. Taking the best parts of the classic AJ4s and the newer Jordan 4 SB "Pine Green" and combining them, the comfort on these is a lot different to your average 4. The padding on the tongue and lining are slightly thicker and the insole better when on foot as well. We also noticed that since the backtag and wings overlays have been rubberised, they're a lot softer and don't cause as much rubbing or discomfort.

Next up, how is the leather quality? Swapping out the classic nubuck for a tumbled leather upper was always going to cause a stir, but we're super happy with these look in hand and feel when you put them on. The feel of the leather is really buttery in hand and makes it a lot more wearable in the British weather. Save the OG nubuck for special occasions and rock this as your everyday wear.

What about sizing, do these fit true to size? We definitely recommend staying true to size for this release. As we mentioned, Jordan brand made some changes to this release which made them a lot more comfortable. One of these changes to the shape similar to the original 1989 release. This means the shoes feel a little wider than regular Jordan 4s, so we feel going true to size is your best choice.
