AwesomenessTV has signed digital influencer and actress Liza Koshy to its creator network, and the company said it will work with her on content development and brand deals in addition to managing her popular YouTube channel.

Koshy, who goes by the online handle “Lizzza,” rose to fame with her comedy bits on Twitter’s Vine, where she now has 5.1 million followers. The 20-year-old has a total fanbase of more than 22 million across platforms including YouTube, Vine, Instagram and Music.ly. Last week she picked up the trophy for “breakout creator” at the 2016 Streamy Awards.

Koshy can be seen in AwesomenessTV’s recently released horror series “Freakish” on Hulu and in Tyler Perry’s “Boo! A Madea Halloween,” set for Oct. 21 release. In addition, she has created branded content with sponsors including Coca-Cola and M&Ms.

“I am so excited to sign with AwesomenessTV,” said Koshy in a statement. “I can’t wait to explore all the fun opportunities with them and feel even more awesome.”

Paula Kaplan, AwesomenessTV’s head of talent and live events, called Koshy a triple threat — comedian, dramatic actress and digital influencer. “She has a unique ability to connect with diverse audiences making her a perfect addition to the ATV Network,” said Kaplan.

Koshy joins the ATV Network, whose other recently signed talent includes Todrick Hall, Mikey Murphy, Violet “Daddy Issues” Benson, Caeli, Morgan Hanbery, Kalista Elaine, Zac Deck, the duo “Gay Code,” Duda Castro, and Futrell, a five-brother singing group.

Koshy is repped by CAA and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, Warren, Richman, Rush & Kaller, and managed by Management 360. AwesomenessTV, founded by Brian Robbins and Joe Davola in 2012, is majority owned by Comcast with minority stakes held by Verizon and Hearst.
