Ingredients::
- Grape leaves;
- Carrot;
- Sweet pepper;
- Tomato;
- Rice;
- Coriander;
- Basil;
- Garlic;
- Green onion;
- Onion;
- Pepper;
- Salt.
Cooking method:
Choose raw grape leaves, wash them thoroughly, and peel off the veins. If the leaves are large, cut them in half. Boil rice in salted water until cooked, then drain and rinse it with cold water using a colander. In a pan, sauté thinly chopped carrot, sweet pepper, and onion in oil. Add the ground tomato, thinly cut herbs, garlic paste, pepper, and salt to the sautéed vegetables. Stir well and cook for 2-4 minutes. Remove from heat, let it cool, and incorporate the cooked rice into the mixture. Take a grape leaf, place a portion of the filling onto it, and roll it tightly. Repeat with the remaining grape leaves and filling. Place the rolled grape leaves (dolma) in a pot. Pour ground tomato over the dolma, season with salt, pepper, and oil. Place a plate on top, cover the pot with a lid, and cook on low heat. If the tomato juice is not enough, add boiled water while boiling. The dolma is ready when the grape leaves are tender and cooked
