Christian Fru Fonebi

Christian F. Fonebi, fondly known to his siblings as “Papi”, 43, of 1856 Austin Ridge Parkway, Wake Forest, NC passed away on March 26, 2024.

Christian was born on April 17, 1980, to Peter S. Fonebi and Martha Manka in Garoua, Cameroon. Christian graduated from Walden University in July 2023.

After graduating with a degree in master’s in nursing, he worked as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

In 2010, Christian met Novel in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. Christian and Novel went on to have two children, Makayla, and Samuel.

Christian’s favorite activities were watching and playing football (soccer). His favorite team was Manchester United Football Club.

Christian was predeceased by his father, Peter S. Fonebi, who passed away in August 1995, and his nephew, Rodrigue, in April 2017. He is survived by his mom: Martha, his wife: Novel, his daughter: Makayla, his son: Samuel, his siblings: Joseph, Simon, Daniel, Anthony, Reverend Sister Pulchérie, Helene, and Gwendoline. And many nephews, nieces, and in-laws.

The Wake keeping will be held on Friday, April 19, from 5 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.at Wakefield Barn, 12617 Old Falls of Neuse Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587. Tel. 919-488 – 4244.

The viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest, NC 27587. Tel: 919-556-5811

The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena, 520 West Holding Avenue, Wake Forest, North Carolina 27587, on Saturday, April 20, at 1 p.m.

The Burial will be after mass at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens, 770 Stadium Drive, Wake Forest, NC 27587.

There will be a repast after burial at Toast of Town, 2431 Spring Forest Rd. # 111, Raleigh NC 27615.
