She was cremated on Jan.7 2009, the day after her funeral. She was accompanied by myself and my husband, Jesika's devoted stepfather, up untill the last moment allowed by law. Her biological father declined to attend. I have a portion of her ashes in a necklace charm that I wear every day. Thank you.
