Meriem Bildsten holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from Uppsala University, Sweden. Meriem is known for her commitment to student success. Her teaching philosophy revolves around encouraging active learning, promoting self-responsibility, and utilizing technology to empower students. Meriem firmly believes in providing all students equal attention, respect, and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
Throughout her academic career, Meriem has held a number of roles, including coordinating multi-section courses with faculty and lab staff, developing syllabuses, and crafting courses like Biology and Biochemistry for pre-med students. As AIM Coordinator, she has actively improved student study skills and problem-solving abilities. Meriem is committed to creating learning environments that stimulate active engagement, incorporating technology such as online adaptive learning tools, and offering workshops on time management and exam preparation.
