Attila Ökrös hungarian violinist - Graudate of Valery Oistrakh -1st prize winner of international competitions - Ex-concertmaster of the"Ossla"

Welcome! I am a hungarian classical concert violinist with gipsy origins. Recently I have been selected as 1st prize winner in the "Paris Grand Prize Virtuoso" and the "American Protege" international competitions. I am a graduate of Igor and Valery Oistrakh at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Currently I am teaching in Budapest at the "Vienna Konservatorium" private conservatory, where I am teaching my own method that is called "Quantum jump". I was working also as concertmaster in Mexico for one year after my graduation. If you book a lesson with me you can expect very rapid and focused work aimed directly to the problem. In the same time I will try to find your "language" to make it very direct and very clear and also keeping up an inspiring atmosphere.

Attila is the best teacher I've ever studied with. Expert in analyzing your issues and making you a better player in any aspect. All done with patience, kindness and great communication.

We have organized a masterclass for him in Budapest at the Leopold Mozart School of Music. It was extremely succesful, he always touches the main core of the problem, and solves it in a rapid personal way.

Its a great thing to learn from such a great violinist and person. I alwaye wait the next lesson with excitement. In the lessons we always solve the problems very fast, and he is very careful about everything. In the same time we have very good atmosphere. I would like to become such an artist like him.
