Uh oh! Looks like there is trouble between East High's hottest couple in the upcoming episode of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series as EJ has some apologizing to do.
In a new video exclusive to Seventeen, EJ (Matt Cornett) tries to make things right again with Nini (Olivia Rodrigo) and decides that the best way to do so would be through an original song. But, based on the face of his cousin, Ashlyn (Julia Lester), it looks like songwriting might not be his biggest strong suit. Check out the video below:
Seventeen also got an exclusive photo of EJ really going for it in his number, "A Billion Sorrys", and he might need all that confidence he has while standing on that coffee table to get his girl back.
While it's not yet known the reason why Nini is mad at EJ, it might have something to do with his plan to steal her phone and read the recent texts that have been blowing her phone up recently. Although he originally tried to get Ashlyn to help him out, it was actually Gina (Sofia Wylie), who stole her phone and put it in his bag.
Of course, this means that she'll want something from him in return and if the past two episodes are any indication, she's definitely ready for her spotlight and will do anything, including using Nini's boyfriend against her, to get it.
High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is available on Disney+ with new episodes released every Friday.
