Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Corta is in her fourth season with the Lady Yote softball program.

2018: Saw action in 27 games as a junior, including 10 starts; hit .267 with five doubles and six RBI; named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team.

2017: Played in 21 games as a sophomore, including 11 starts; hit .293 with three RBI - recording four multi-hit games; had two hits and two runs scored vs. British Columbia at the CCC Championships; named to the CCC All-Academic Team.

2016: Played in 18 games as a freshman, starting 11; hit .291 with seven doubles and drove in eight runs; third on the team in runs with 19, while collecting 25 hits along with a .413 OBP, went 3-for-3 with a school-record tying three doubles vs. Menlo College on Jan. 31.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Eagle High, where she helped her team to the 2015 5A state title; earned All-Southern Idaho Conference honors as a senior; also played basketball as a prep; played for the Idaho Sliders softball club.

CLUB TEAM: Idaho Sliders

PERSONAL: Studying business; daughter of Doug and Jacki Corta.
