4.15pm: Jose Mourinho says Matteo Darmian is not leaving Old Trafford this summer.
Italy international Darmian, 28, has been on the fringes of Jose Mourinho’s first-team squad in recent seasons and is angling after a return to Serie A.
“I don't think he will go,” Mourinho said at a press conference.
“He cannot have any bad feeling towards us because we opened the door for him in case his desire was to go but it looks like it's not going to end in a transfer and for me it is good news that Matteo is staying.
“He's always an option for us, a reliable player, we know that his performance level is that one, we know he always does a job for the team, right-back, left-back, starting player on the bench, he always does it, he's loved in the group by his human nature, too.”
3.30pm: Arsenal striker Stephy Mavididi has joined Juventus.

2.30pm: Everton defender Cuco Martina has joined Stoke on loan.
The former Southampton man joins Toffees team-mate Ashley Williams in joining the Championship side on a temporary basis.
1pm: Arsenal have announced that Joel Campbell has left the club.
The Costa Rica international has joined Serie A side Frosinone on a permanent deal.
Campbell spent seven years at Arsenal but failed to break into the first-team picture and spent seven spells on loan at various European clubs.

11.30am: Tottenham transfer target Jack Grealish looks set to be rewarded with a bumper new Aston Villa contract.
Steve Bruce has revealed the 22-year-old will now be offered fresh terms at the Championship heavyweights.
He said: “Jack Grealish has been fantastic.
“We hope to reward him. We are in talks with him now.
“We hope to get an agreement by the end of the month.”

9.20am: Man Utd could be set to lose Paul Pogba this month after all.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a switch to Barcelona in recent days but it now appears Real Madrid have entered the race.
Spanish outlet Don Balon, known for their bold and outlandish transfer claims, say Florentino Perez is ready to go all out to secure a deal.
8am: Chelsea reportedly ended their interest in Nabil Fekir during the summer.
The Lyon ace saw a move to Liverpool fall through before becoming subject to interest from the Blues.
But according to Goal, Chelsea ended their pursuit following Eden Hazard and Willian's decisions to stay at the club.
The report claims Maurizio Sarri is keen to revisit a swoop for Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic.
7am: Barcelona are refusing to give up hope of landing unsettled Manchester United ace Paul Pogba.
The Spanish giants insisted last week they had ended their interest in signing Pogba in this transfer window.
But it is understood the World Cup winner remains top of their wanted list and that Barca bosses will look to lure him to the Nou Camp in 2019.
Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu remains determined to sign Pogba and will keep close tabs on developments at Old Trafford.
Barca have shown before they are willing to wait to get their targets, having spent 18 months chasing Philippe Coutinho before landing him from Liverpool in a £142m deal in January.
5.30am: Everton defender Cuco Martina is weighing up offers from two Championship clubs as his club look to send him out on loan.
The 28-year-old defender is surplus to requirements at Goodison but is wanted by Stoke City and Middlesbrough.
The Toffees had been hoping to sell Martina before the close of the window for £2m but are willing to accept loan offers for a player who has just less than two years remaining on his contract.
3am: Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic is set to sign a new contract with the Serie A champions, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Bosnian was targeted by Barcelona, Manchester City and Chelsea this summer, but will commit his long-term future to Juventus.
Pjanic, 28, joined Juve from Roma in 2016.
1am: Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino insists he is happy to release any player that is not committed to his plans.
Despite not signing a single player before the domestic deadline last week, the futures of a number of players remain uncertain ahead of August 31.
Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose, Georges-Kevin N'Koudou and Vincent Janssen have all be linked with moves away from Tottenham.
Pochettino said: "If some player is not happy because he needs to play or believes he can play more at another team, or needs to change the environment, or needs a new challenge or motivation, I told them that I am open to find the solution."
9pm: Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha could still end up joining the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea or Tottenham, says former Eagles chairman Simon Jordan.
“I don’t want to be too cynical, obviously Wilfried Zaha came out of an academy I produced and has done fabulously for Palace, on his own merits and with the new ownership at Palace,” he told talkSPORT.
“But I feel while this is good news for Palace fans, what this is also about is price protection.
“Getting him back on a five-year contract, because I think he had three years left on his current one, will enhance the value Palace can demand for him.
“So while I think it’s good news on one hand, it could also be the basis of commanding the right value for Wilfried Zaha, which is in the £70-80m bracket.
6.30pm: Jose Mourinho has been urged to sell “arrogant” Paul Pogba by former Red Devils striker Alan Brazil.
“I’m not happy with him (Pogba), I think he’s arrogant, he’s aloof,” he said on talkSPORT.
“The way he struts about, if he was playing eight-out-of-ten every week then I’d say, ‘well he’s got a point’, but he hasn’t, not for me.
“I think Jose is right to say, ‘look, you’re annoying the dressing room, you’re annoying me, you’re annoying the rest of the boys, if you don’t like it, see you later’.
“It’s best to get rid. Yes (it would strengthen United), I do."
4.20pm: Paul Pogba will not be leaving Man Utd this month, according to Alan Shearer.
"I would be amazed if United were to sell Pogba before the end of the month now," he told Coral.
“We don’t know what has gone on in the background but nobody is coming out and denying it, not the player or his agent.
“If they were prepared to sell him they should have done it before the English window shut so they could replace him.
“I know the player or their representative does not have to make a statement but it would certainly defuse the situation if they did come out and say something, rather than allowing all the media speculation.”
3.05pm: Paul Ince has launched a scathing attack on Paul Pogba and believes Jose Mourinho should sell the midfielder.
He told Paddy Power: “You'd like to think that when Paul Pogba went away to the World Cup, where he was fantastic, he'd have come back with a winners' medal and felt a lot happier going into the new season.
“But, since he's come back, he's been a nightmare. As a player, irrespective of whether you're happy or unhappy, there are ways to conduct yourself.
“He captained United in their opening game of the season against Leicester, played brilliantly, and then came out with those quotes afterwards.
“I really can't understand why he'd do that other than to get attention and set tongues wagging.”
2.15pm: Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba wants to leave Old Trafford for Barcelona regardless of his relationship with Jose Mourinho.
The Daily Mail claim the World Cup winner wanted a move to Spain two years ago before he returned to the Red Devils.
And now it has emerged Pogba has told Ed Woodward and his team-mates that he wants a switch to Barcelona.
The reports also say his agent Mino Raiola has agreed personal terms with the Catalan club.
Pogba would earn £89.5m over five years but Manchester United have already rejected one offer from Barca.
1.45pm: Arsenal have confirmed Krystian Bielik has joined Charlton on a season-long loan.
Bielik went on loan at Birmingham last year where he made 10 appearances.
He then joined Walsall on loan in January for the second half of last season but injury saw the defender return to us for treatment.
Krystian is a Poland youth international having represented his country up to under-19 level.
1.15pm: Chelsea defender Ola Aina says he’s joined Torino because they believe in young players.
Speaking to Torino’s official website, Aina said: “Torino has been following me for some time, I hope to do well.
“I know this is a club that believes in young people and this is very important.
“In Italy I know that I can learn a lot, especially in the ability to be in the field, because the tactics and organisation of play are essential.
“I really want to experience this new experience to the full.
“Now it's my turn, I cannot wait to get started.”
12.45pm: Real Madrid loss to Atletico Madrid last night in the European Super Cup has provoked them into a move for a Chelsea ace - that is not Eden Hazard.
It has sparked club president Florentino Perez into action, who has signed three players for his new manager this summer so far.
Vinicius Junior and Alvaro Odriozola both arrived at the Bernabeu earlier in the summer whilst Chelsea reluctantly let Thibaut Courtois go last week.
But the European champions are not done ransacking the Blues for players this transfer window yet - with a surprise name on Perez's list.
The player on Perez and Lopetegui's radar is fellow Spaniard Marcos Alonso, according to Don Balon.
12.15pm: Tottenham star Toby Alderweireld is wanted by Bayern Munich this summer as they look to replace Jerome Boateng.
Manchester United tried and failed to sign both Alderweireld and Boateng during the transfer window but no deals materialised.
The Mirror report that Bayern have now put Alderweireld on their short-list of replacements for Boateng.
Germany international Boateng is a target for Paris St-Germain and has already agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 champions.
