I just finished Mary Perrine's debut novel, "Hidden" and believe me, it was a book that is very hard to put down! I wanted to keep reading it to find out what the next twist or turn this emotional novel takes you on through the entire book. The book tells the story of Mary Claire and weaves how her childhood is impacting her adult life and her relationships, especially with her best friend and neighbor, Karen. The ending is especially powerful and so very unexpected. Perrine writes in a way that really helps the reader to visualize the story, the characters, and how they are interacting. She takes you on a journey where you don't know what to expect! You will love it! I am looking forward to her next book...can't wait!

This book is gripping from start to finish!
It is enticing, shocking and emotional all at the same time.
It is an amazing read and I could not put it down.
I was done in 24 hours. This book left me wanting more!

What a good read! Hidden is one of those books that you do not want to put down once you have started it! Eagerly waiting for Mary Perrine's next book.
