March 8, 2024I’m surprised by these reviews. These poems seem to be written by a teenager. Cutesy but not very deep or thought provoking. I have the deluxe edition and the cover is cute and is a nice decorative piece. But as for the poems, mediocre at best. I write better poetry than this. 30 pages in and I have given up. It’s dull and full of very typical, heard-it-before lines. I could honestly go on but I’ll leave it at this..I’m very disappointed. Cute for a coffee table decoration… just don’t open it. Lol
Good intro to poetry book

February 17, 2023I love how this book is separated into different "feelings." I think it's a great start for someone like myself who doesn't particularly enjoy poetry books normally, but wants to give it a try. I like my books to have some "re-readability" and I do think after once through, I won't reach for this book again. Cute as a coffee table book and is definitely a good read when you are in the mood for poetry.
A great read for those feeling lost in their own feelings.

December 6, 2019A really wonderful collection of poetry; clustered around themes of self improvement, and understanding of the readers emotions.
I bought this as a gift for my best friend, but had the chance to read through it before giving it to her.
While I personally didnt need the assurances given by the book; I found myself being very struck by the well delivered messages within, that would no doubt be well received by any reader feeling emotionally vulnerable or in need of help.
Even without the underlying themes the collection stands up well on it's own. It's very well written and a pleasure to read.
I would absolutely buy this again as another gift to someone I feel could benefit from its messages and calming prose.
Great poetry for teens and aspiring adults.

May 16, 2021Loved this book! Especially the illustrations and the book being split into sections where you could visit depending on how you feel. Couldn't contain my excitement so I might've peeked at the other pages. It was great, but I find some things annoying like a small scratch on one of the pages, and a black lines in multiple pages, and the target sticker on it was so sticky it left residue on it, that I had to clean rigorously to take off. Nothing serious though, and I loved the writing. 5/5 would recommend.
